Zhongfu Straits Pingtan Development (SHE:000592) proposed to file a bankruptcy application for its debt-ridden Fujian Zhongfu Strait Building Materials City subsidiary.The board of directors approved the plan, but it is still subject to shareholders' approval, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.The Chinese forest product manufacturer's shares fell 1% at the close.
