Changhong Meiling to Suspend Investment in Appliance Industrial Park Project
Changhong Meiling (SHE:000521) will suspend its investment in the Hefei Changhong Smart Home Appliance Industrial Park project to control investment risks due to market changes, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.The appliance manufacturer has so far boosted production on its existing refrigerator production lines, with the higher capacity meeting sales demands in the short term.The company will also ask its shareholders to authorize the chairman to postpone project construction based on market demand and capacity usage, the filing said.
