Changhong Meiling to Invest 79.8 Million Yuan in Dryer, Dishwasher Facility
Appliance manufacturer Changhong Meiling (SHE:000521, SHE:200521) and its subsidiary Hefei Changhong Industrial plan to invest 79.8 million yuan to build a clothes dryer and dishwasher project, according to a Thursday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.The proposed facility, located at the Hefei Changhong Industrial Park, will have an annual production capacity of 500,000 units.The project is expected to be finalized by December, and the estimated construction period is estimated to take 12 months, with official production slated to begin in December 2027.The company's shares were down 2% in recent trade.
