Shanghai Aohua Photoelectricity Endoscope (SHA:688212) said its upper gastrointestinal electronic endoscopy surgical control system was granted entry into China's medical products administrator's innovative medical device special review procedure.The master-slave robotic system is designed for biliary tract procedures, enabling remote operation that reduces radiation exposure for medical staff, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai bourse.The device also shortens physician training time and standardizes surgical protocols.
