Piotech's (SHA:688072) net profit attributable to shareholders in 2025 rose 35% to 926.7 million yuan from 688.2 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Tuesday.Earnings per share increased 34% year on year to 3.29 yuan from 2.46 yuan.Operating revenue jumped 59% to 6.52 billion yuan from 4.10 billion yuan in the preceding year.The Chinese semiconductor device manufacturer's shares soared 4% in the morning trade.

Piotech Returns to Profit in Q1; Shares Up 3%

Piotech (SHA:688072) booked a net profit of 570.6 million yuan in the first quarter of 2026, reversing a net loss of 147 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Tuesday.The Chinese semiconductor device manufacturer posted earnings per share of 2.00 yuan, versus a loss per share of 0.52 yuan in Q1 2025.The recovery came as revenue jumped 57% to 1.11 billion yuan from 708.7 million yuan.Shares of the company rose 3% in morning trade on Tuesday.
