Rockchip Electronics' Q1 Profit Jumps 57%, Revenue Climbs 36%; Shares Up 3%
Rockchip Electronics' (SHA:603893) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first quarter jumped 57% to 329.2 million yuan from 209.5 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Shangahi bourse filing on Wednesday.Earnings per share rose 56% year on year to 0.78 yuan from 0.50 yuan.Operating revenue climbed 36% to 1.21 billion yuan from approximately 885 million yuan in the previous year.The fabless integrated circuit design company's shares jumped less than 3% during the morning trade.
