Weiming Environment Protection's H1 Profit Drops 35%, Revenue Falls 21%
Zhejiang Weiming Environment Protection's (SHA:603568) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half dropped 35% to 929.5 million yuan from 1.42 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Saturday.The Chinese solid waste disposal company's shares slumped 5% at the close of Monday's trade.Earnings per share fell 45% year on year to 0.45 yuan from 0.82 yuan.Operating revenue declined 21% to 3.07 billion yuan from 3.90 billion yuan in the prior year.
