China Satellite Communications' Q1 Profit Plunges 62%
China Satellite Communications' (SHA:601698) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first quarter plummeted 62% to 26.8 million yuan from 70.4 million yuan a year earlier.Earnings per share shrank to 0.0064 yuan from 0.0167 yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.The satellite operator's revenue rose 0.7% to 542.4 million yuan from 538.6 million yuan in the prior year.
