Baofeng Energy's Q1 Profit Jumps 50%, Revenue Climbs 23%; Shares Up 5%
Ningxia Baofeng Energy's (SHA:600989) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first quarter jumped 50% to 3.66 billion yuan from 2.44 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday.Earnings per share climbed 52% year on year to 0.50 yuan from 0.33 yuan.Operating revenue rose 23% to 13.2 billion yuan from 10.8 billion yuan in the previous year.The Chinese chemical products manufacturer's shares jumped 5% during the morning trade on Friday.
