Ningbo Shanshan (SHA:600884) will invest 5.11 billion yuan in a lithium-ion battery anode materials facility in Inner Mongolia, China, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.Of the amount, 4.32 billion yuan will go to the construction of fixed-asset investments. Construction will start in March 2027 and will last until July 2028.Upon completion, production capacity for lithium-ion battery anode materials will reach 150,000 tons, as well as additional graphitization capacity of 50,000 tons to complement the capacity in Jiuyuan, the battery company said.
