HUAYU Automotive Systems Q1 Profit Down 3%, Revenue Ticks Down 1%
Huayu Automotive Systems (SHA:600741) posted first-quarter attributable net profit of 1.24 billion yuan, down 2.6% from 1.28 billion yuan the previous year.Earnings per share declined to 0.395 yuan from 0.405 yuan, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.Operating revenue ticked down 1.0% year over year to 40.2 billion yuan from 40.6 billion yuan.Shares of the automotive parts maker were down 3% Wednesday.
