GRP Unit Faces Fresh Legal Proceedings from Energiser Despite Previous Settlement

GRP (SGX:BLU) subsidiary, Ratus Nautika, is facing new legal proceedings initiated by Energiser Enterprise for "further damages," following a settlement more than two months ago, according to a Wednesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.In April, GRP said the legal dispute related to a housing project in Malaysia, where Energiser previously served as the main contractor, had been fully settled.The Singaporean group said it plans to challenge the new claims as they have been deemed "baseless" by its advisors.The proceedings are not expected to impact the ongoing progress on the housing project, GRP said.In February 2025, Ratus Nautika terminated Energiser as the project's main contractor over contractual breaches.
