Aztech Global's H1 Attributable Profit, Revenue Down

Aztech Global's (SGX:8AZ) attributable profit to owners dropped in the first half to SG$9.4 million from SG$16.1 million a year earlier, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.Earnings per share came in at SG$0.0121 compared with SG$0.0208 in the year-ago period.Revenue declined to SG$151.4 million from SG$185.4 million.The technology designer and manufacturer proposed an interim dividend of SG$0.05 per share. It paid SG$0.01 per share in the previous year.

Aztech Global's (SGX:8AZ) net profit zoomed 167% during the first quarter of the year to SG$4 million from SG$1.5 million a year earlier, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.Earnings per share stood at SG$0.0051 compared with SG$0.002 in the year-ago period.Revenue climbed 54% year over year to SG$64.7 million from SG$42 million, backed by strong demand for IoT services.
