Union Gas Closes Acquisition of Two Firms
Union Gas (SGX:1F2) completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Henry Gas, and Henry Gas Engineering and Distribution, according to a Monday Singapore Exchange filing.The acquired companies are engaged in the retail sale of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).Union Gas said the acquisition strengthens its LPG business by adding an established operation and securing the lease of a depot in Bukit Batok.The company expects the depot to support the expansion of its LPG and LPG product distribution network in Singapore's western and northern regions.
