LaFleur Minerals Appoints Andrew Elinesky as CEO
LaFleur Minerals (LFLR.CN) appointed Andrew Elinesky as its chief executive officer, it said in a statement on Wednesday.Elinesky, who has more than two decades of senior executive and financial leadership experience with public companies in Canada, the US, and the United Kingdom, most recently served as the president, CEO, and director of Sabre Gold Mines (SGLD.TO). Paul Teniere, who previously served as CEO of LaFleur, will continue with the company as president and a director, it said.The company also said that representatives of Trafigura and LaFleur Minerals' management team completed a site visit to the Beacon Gold Mill and Swanson Gold Project in Quebec, on Aug. 10 and 11. The company and Trafigura continued to progress due diligence regarding the proposed prepayment and gold dore offtake arrangements and that there is no assurance that definitive agreements will be entered into, it said.Recommissioning of the Beacon Gold Mill reached over 95% completion on an average per-item basis, it added.Shares of the company were last seen up 1.5% at CA$0.35 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.Price: $0.36, Change: $+0.02, Percent Change: +4.35%
