Securitize Tokenizes its own Public Stock at Listing Day
Securitize (SECZ) said Thursday it is bringing its own common stock onchain at the listing day.The company's common stock began trading today on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "SECZ," and eligible US investors will be able to access tokenized SECZ separately through its regulated platform, the company said.The company said tokenized SECZ will represent the same common stock trading on the NYSE, not a separate share class.Shares of Securitize rose 10% in Thursday trading.Price: $12.94, Change: $+1.16, Percent Change: +9.85%
