Scandium Canada Says Scalium Alloy Deployed in Ferreol Skis New Collection
Scandium Canada (SCD.V) said Thursday that its Scalium alloy is now integrated into the construction of every ski in Ferreol Skis' new 2026-2027 collection, launched today.The alpine skis manufacturer also contributed to the development of Scalium, Scandium said in a statement."This announcement by Ferreol Skis is concrete proof that the market is ready for our aluminum-scandium alloys," said Guy Bourassa, chief executive officer. "This is exactly what our mine-to-alloy strategy is designed to do: create value with our alloys today, while advancing the Crater Lake project as a primary source of scandium in North America."Scandium separately said it raised C$5 million through a private placement of 25-million charity flow-through units priced at C$0.20 each. Each FT unit is comprised of one share and one two-year warrant to buy a share at C$0.22.Proceeds will fund diamond drilling at the Crater Lake Project in Quebec.Scandium shares were last seen down C$0.005 to C$0.20 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
