Sage Potash Gets Approvals for Its Drilling Program at Sage Plain Potash Project in Utah
Sage Potash (SAGE.V) received all approvals and permits needed from the local County and the State of Utah to proceed with drilling operations at its Sage Plain project in San Juan County in Utah, it said in a statement on Thursday.The company received final approvals after a site inspection conducted on May 28, by representatives of the Utah Division of Oil, Gas and Mining, accompanied by personnel from Sage Potash and its contractors, it said.The drilling program will undertake the confirmation of potash mineralization and a "comprehensive" hydrogeological assessment, the company said."Our technical team has designed a focused multi-purpose drill program aimed at generating the critical geological and hydrogeological data required to potentially upgrade the resource and advance the Project toward feasibility studies and detailed engineering," said Sage Potash CEO J. Patricio Varas.An updated resource estimate is expected to be released in the third quarter of 2026, which will have results from the current drilling campaign and historical drilling data.
