Royal Road Minerals Updates Plans For Lalla Aziza Copper Mine, Morocco
Royal Road Minerals (RYR.V) which holds an option to acquire 100% of the Lalla Aziza underground copper mine in Morocco, said Wednesday it reached a confidentiality agreement granting it a period of exclusivity over a contiguous mining title within the same corridor in the country's western High Atlas region.Royal Road engaged an independent broker dealer to assist in evaluating and structuring potential transaction pathways. These pathways are expected to include the consolidation of multiple licenses, including the company's existing interests, into a single, coherent project, a statement said.Lalla Aziza is currently owned and operated by Moroccan mining company Carbomine. Last July, Royal Road said its 15-hole, 1,000-meter reverse circulation scout-drilling campaign at the project confirmed "economically significant" copper grades extend across the width of the mineralized structure.Royal Road Resources were last seen unchanged at $0.185 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
