Reitmans Gets TSXV Approval To Renew Its Normal-Course Issuer Bid
Reitmans (Canada) (RET.V, RET-A.V) received TSX Venture Exchange approval to renew its normal-course issuer bid (NCIB), it said after markets closed Thursday.The clothing retailer may buy back up to 3-million Class A Non-Voting Shares over the 12-month period starting on Aug. 5. The company may not buy back more than 2% of the issued and outstanding Class A Shares at the time of purchase in any 30-day period, it added.Reitmans bought back 414,300 Class A Shares during the 12-month period ended Aug. 4, in its expiring NCIB.The company's shares were last seen up C$0.02, or 1%, to C$2.02 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
