ACEN Units Secure PHP2.93 Billion Project Financing Facility
ACEN (PSE:ACEN) units, Palauig Solar 1 and Gigasol2, have signed a 2.93 billion Philippine pesos project financing facility with the Bank of the Philippine Islands (PSE:BPI) and BPI Asset Management and Trust.The facility will partly finance the Palauig 1 Energy Storage System, a 35-megawatt (MW)/140 MW-hour project integrated with the existing 63 MWdc/50 MWac Palauig 1 solar plant in Zambales, according to a Friday Philippines Exchange filing.Proceeds will also be used to refinance debt related to the development of the solar and storage assets, it said.
