Phenom Resources Submits US Provisional Application to Protect Intellectual Property
Phenom Resources (PHNM.V) filed a US provisional application with the country's Patent Office to protect the intellectual property of the metallurgical flowsheet it developed for its high-grade vanadium-nickel opportunity, it said in a statement on Thursday.The company said it was seeking a strategic partner to fund and operate the project, with Phenom retaining part ownership using its recovery processes. Phenom is also seeking US government funds to advance and support the project, it said.Phenom expects the project to be a long-term-operating processing plant that would process high-grade vanadium and nickel feed to generate high purity product at a profit at current prices, it said.Shares of the company were last seen up 4.6% at C$0.34 on the TSX Venture Exchange.Price: $0.34, Change: $+0.02, Percent Change: +4.62%
