Pacific Bay Minerals Begins Exploration Work at the Weaver Gold Project in British Columbia
Pacific Bay Minerals (PBM.V) on Wednesday said it launched exploration work at the Weaver gold property in British Columbia.Work will include geological mapping, geochemical soil and silt sampling, with the goal of studying the potential to extend the strike length of the main vein, the mineral exploration company said Wednesday.Pacific Bay serves as the operator of the project, which is under option to Aurwest Resources (AWR.CN). Under the terms, Aurwest can earn a 50% stake in the property over three years.The company's shares last traded Tuesday, closing at C$0.045 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
