Pollard Banknote (PBL.TO) announced that the Colorado Lottery published a notice of intent to award the company as the "Apparent Successful Vendor" for the Lottery Digital Solution contract, it said on Monday.The program encompasses an iLottery platform, website and mobile application, player loyalty and rewards, marketing programs, and games, the company said."The award is subject to the protest period and the completion of a standard background investigation and execution of the formal contract," it added.Shares of the company closed up 0.3% to $16.04 on Friday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Pollard Banknote (PBL.TO) announced the planned retirement of Rob Rose from the role of Executive Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer, effective Dec. 31, overnight Wednesday.Rose "has been an integral member of Pollard Banknote's executive management team", over the last 31 years, the company said. An executive search process for his successor has begun.Shares of the company closed up 0.4% to $18.32 on Wednesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
