Origen Resources Raises C$500,000 in a Private Placement of Share Units
Origen Resources (ORGN.CN) said Friday it closed a private placement of share units that raised C$500,000 .The company said it placed 10-million units priced at $0.05 each and made up of a share and one half of an 18-month warrant to buy a share for $0.075.The company said it plans to use the proceeds for its newly acquired rare earths elements project areas in Brazil's Piaui state, as well as for general working capital and exploration expenditures.Origen shares last traded Thursday, closing at $0.075 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
