Omega Pacific Resources To Begin its 2026 Exploration Program at the Williams Property
Omega Pacific Resources (OMGA.CN) on Thursday outlined its 2026 exploration program at the Williams Property, in British Columbia's Toodoggone District.The program, scheduled to begin on Thursday, is expected to further delineate and expand the gold mineralization along strike and up-dip from the deeper around 500-meter deep 2024 drill holes, said the company.The company expects the program to include one or more of soil sampling, rock sampling, geological mapping, and geophysical surveys and potentially additional IP geophysical surveying at the West GIC Gold target, it said.The company will also continue exploration on the copper-molybdenum East target to assess the potential for a copper porphyry, it added."We expect that the expanded 2026 fieldwork and drilling program at the West GIC target will generate similar results to what we delivered in 2024 and demonstrate to our shareholders, and our broader community, the full potential of this exploration opportunity," said Chief Executive Officer Jason Leikam.Shares of the company were last seen down C$0.015, or 11%, to C$0.12 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.Price: $0.12, Change: $-0.02, Percent Change: -11.11%
