Chatham Rock Phosphate Closes Non-Brokered Private Placement; Shares Down 3%
Chatham Rock Phosphate (NZE:CRP) closed a non-brokered private placement of 2.7 million common shares at a price of CA$0.05 per unit for gross proceeds of CA$133,891.10, according to a Monday New Zealand bourse filing.The placement is still subject to final approval of the TSX Venture Exchange, the company said. The funds raised will be used for general working capital.The company also said that certain insiders of the firm acquired a total of 1.2 million shares under the placement, which were considered to be "related party transactions."Chatham Rock Phosphate's shares fell past 3% in recent trading on Monday.
