NV Gold Raises C$704,000 in First Tranche of Private Placement Financing
NV Gold (NVX.V) said Monday after trade it raised about C$704,000 in the first tranche of a private placement of share units.The company issued 1.76 million units at C$0.40 apiece. Each unit is made up of one share and half of a two-year warrant to buy a share for C$0.80.NV Gold intends to close a second tranche of the offering in a few weeks.Financing proceeds will be used for a drill program and general working capital.The company's shares last traded on Aug. 28, closing at C$0.58 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
