Nord Precious Metals Mining Reports Latest Castle East Mineralized Intervals

Nord Precious Metals Mining (NTH.V) said Wednesday that assay results from the Castle East silver project near Gowganda, Ontario returned three separate silver-cobalt mineralized intervals between 404.20 and 463.60 meters downhole.Highlights include 4,683 grams per tonne (g/t) of silver with 0.53% cobalt over 2.00 meters."CS-26-140W1 adds three separate high-grade silver-cobalt intervals across a 59.4 meter downhole span and gives our technical team important new data for the Castle East model," said Frank Basa, Nord chief executive officer. "Set beside the surface gold work and the conceptual open-pit assessment, it completes the sequence we have been building: gold at surface, near-surface evaluation, and high-grade silver at depth, with each target advanced on its own geological merits."Nord Precious Metal shares were last seen up CA$0.005 at CA$0.17 on the TSX Venture Exchange.Price: $0.17, Change: $+0.01, Percent Change: +3.03%

Nord Precious Metals Up 2.9% After it Extends Castle East High-Grade Silver Robinson Zone

Nord Precious Metals Mining (NTH.V) shares rose 2.9% on Tuesday after it extended its Castle East high-grade silver Robinson Zone with an intersection of 6.65 meters returning 2,848 grams per tonne (g/t) Ag including 61,389 g/t silver over 0.30 meters. The CS-21-73W3 strong native silver intercept is located about 25 and 22 meters above the intercepts of CS-21-73W1 and CS-21-73W2, respectively, expanding the mineralized area of intersecting veins within the Castle East vein system. Drilling continues to advance within the 5,000-meter phase announced in May, it said. The company said assay results are pending for the new CS-21-73W3 intercept and additional holes are planned as the current phase of drilling continues."With Nord now holding title to all the area mining leases following the recent acquisition, we can test structures that could not be drilled under fragmented ownership," said Nord Precious Metals chief executive Frank J. Basa. "Equally important is the new native silver intercept in CS-21-73W3, which shows the vein system carrying strong silver-cobalt mineralization further than we had previously drilled and confirms the structure remains open along strike."Shares of the company were last seen up $0.005 at $0.18 on the TSX Venture Exchange.Price: $0.18, Change: $+0.01, Percent Change: +2.86%
