New Stratus Energy Upsizes Private Placement to Raise Up to C$8 Million
New Stratus Energy (NSE.V) on Friday it upsized a non-brokered private placement of shares to C$8 million, up from its prior C$7-million target.The company said it now it now plans to issue an undisclosed number of shares priced at C$0.50. Some of the company's large shareholders have agreed to participate in the offering and have increased their orders."The proceeds from the offering will remain the same and will be used to advance due diligence on MOUs for opportunities in Venezuela," the company said.The company's shares closed up C$0.01, or 1.7%, to C$0.61 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
