Thermax Posts Higher Fiscal Q4 Net Profit; Shares Jump 13%
Thermax (NSE:THERMAX, BOM:500411) recorded a rise in attributable net profit to 2.44 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter from 2.06 billion rupees a year ago, according to an Indian bourse filing by the energy services provider.Shares of the company jumped nearly 13% in Friday's trade.Earnings per share during the quarter ended March 31 climbed to 21.68 rupees from 18.26 rupees.Revenue from operations in the quarter ended March 31 increased to 34.28 billion rupees from 30.46 billion rupees a year earlier.The company recommended a final dividend of 14 rupees per share and a special dividend of 6 rupees per share for the financial year ended March 31.
