Rajratan Global Wire's Net Profit Rises in Fiscal Q4; Shares Plummet 6%

Rajratan Global Wire (NSE:RAJRATAN, BOM:517522) net profit increased to 154.3 million Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter, from 152 million rupees a year ago, according to an Indian bourse filing on Tuesday.Shares of the company fell nearly 6% in Wednesday's trade.Earnings per share during the quarter ended March 31 climbed to 3.04 rupees from 2.99 rupees a year earlier.Revenue from operations of the bead wire manufacturer rose year on year to 3.14 billion rupees from 2.51 billion rupees, the filing said.Additionally, the company's board recommended a final dividend of 2 rupees per share for the financial year ended March 31.
