Nuvoco Vistas Posts Lower Consolidated Profit in Fiscal Q4

Nuvoco Vistas (NSE:NUVOCO, BOM:543334) booked a drop in attributable consolidated profit to 1.41 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter, from 1.66 billion rupees a year ago, according to a Tuesday filing to the Indian exchanges.Shares of the company slipped over 2% in Wednesday's trade.Earnings per share during the quarter ended March 31 fell to 3.94 rupees from 4.63 rupees a year earlier.Revenue from operations of the cement company rose year on year to 33.1 billion rupees from 30.4 billion rupees, the filing said.
