Medi Assist Healthcare Raises Stake in UK's Mayfair We Care to Over 91%
Medi Assist Healthcare Services (NSE:MEDIASSIST, BOM:544088) said it has completed the acquisition of an additional 31.75% stake in U.K.-based Mayfair We Care, taking its total holding to 91.75%.The company acquired 1,270 equity shares from existing shareholders for a total consideration of about 75.7 million rupees, effective July 1, according to a Wednesday filing to the Indian bourses.Additionally, the company said Chief Business Officer Nikhil Chopra will become chief executive officer of Mayfair, while Michail Chopra will move to the role of founder and strategic advisor.
