Matrimony.com's Consolidated Profit Rises in Fiscal Q4; Shares Up 5%

Matrimony.com's (NSE:MATRIMONY, BOM:540704) consolidated attributable profit rose to 97.1 million Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, from 81.8 million rupees a year ago.Earnings per share came in at 4.59 rupees from 3.79 rupees a year earlier, according to a Wednesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges on Thursday.Revenue from operations also increased to 1.17 billion rupees from 1.08 billion rupees a year ago.The company's board declared a final dividend of 5 rupees per share of 5 rupees each. The record date for the dividend has been set as Aug. 5.Matrimony.com's shares were up nearly 5% in recent trade.
