Firstsource Solutions' Consolidated Profit Rises in Fiscal Q4; Shares Jump 10%

Firstsource Solutions' (NSE:FSL, BOM:532809) consolidated attributable net profit rose to 2.05 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, from 1.61 billion rupees a year ago.Earnings per share stood at 2.91 rupees from 2.28 rupees a year earlier, the business process management company said in a filing to the Indian bourses on Wednesday.Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 also increased to 26.1 billion rupees from 21.7 billion rupees a year ago.The company's shares surged nearly 10% in recent trade.
