CarTrade Tech Launches Used-Car Platform

CarTrade Tech (NSE:CARTRADE, BOM:543333) said it has launched CarTrade Used Auto platform to expand its presence in India's used-car market, according to a Monday filing on Indian bourses.The platform combines strengths of CarWale and OLX India businesses, the filing said. It brings together buying, selling, exchange and financing services on a single system, it added.CarTrade also introduced "SuperDost", a toolset aimed at supporting pricing, vehicle evaluation and matching services for used-car transactions.The company said its platforms together handle about 65 million monthly users and engage with around 3 million used-car sellers and 20 million buyers annually.Shares of the company fell nearly 1% in recent trade.

CarTrade Tech's Consolidated Profit Climbs in Fiscal Q4; Shares Jump 6%

CarTrade Tech's (NSE:CARTRADE, BOM:543333) consolidated attributable profit rose to 646.1 million Indian rupees from 418.2 million rupees a year ago, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.Earnings per share climbed to 12.87 rupees from 8.18 rupees a year earlier, the online auto classifieds platform said in a filing to the Indian stock exchanges on Thursday.Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 also increased to 2.03 billion rupees from 1.70 billion rupees a year ago.The company's shares were up over 6% in recent trade.
