Northern Discovery Metals to Mobilize Exploration Personnel for Vent Copper Project Exploration Program
Northern Discovery Metals (NOR.CN) expects to mobilize exploration personnel to the Vent Copper Project on Sept. 10, to begin Stage 1 of its target-refinement exploration program, it said Thursday. The company expects the fieldwork to continue for approximately three weeks, subject to weather, access and other field conditions, at the project located in the Alberni Mining Division on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, it said. The initial focus of the work, which will include geological mapping, prospecting and targeted rock and soil sampling, will be on the Vent-Ken and Sentinel Peak areas, the company said. The company will integrate the results from the program with its existing geological, geochemical and geophysical information to refine its geological model and rank the priority areas."The confirmed upcoming mobilization date moves the Vent program from planning into field execution," said Chief Executive Officer Jared Suchan. "The field team will test the priority copper and molybdenum responses against the geology on the ground so that we can rank the areas on a consistent technical basis and determine where further work is warranted."Shares of the company were last seen up CA$0.05 at CA$1.50 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.Price: $1.50, Change: $+0.05, Percent Change: +3.45%
