Canada Nickel Sells Gold Project, Acquires Mining Claims
Canada Nickel (CNC.V) has entered into a binding letter of intent to sell the Lucas gold project to Noble Mineral Exploration (NOB.V) for 5 million units of Noble.Canada Nickel will be granted a right to acquire a 25% interest in the property by paying four times of the expenditures that Noble incurred, Canada Nickel said Monday.Canada Nickel also acquired a set of mining claims in Lucas township located within its proposed Crawford project overall footprint for 60,000 Canada Nickel common shares and a 1.5% net smelter return, 50% of which can be bought down for C$500,000.
