Mako Mining's Q1 Net Income, Revenue Jump YoY on Higher Gold Prices

Mako Mining (MKO.V)'s net income and revenue increased in the first quarter amid higher gold prices, the company said Friday.Mako reported a net income of US$23.1 million, or $0.26 per share, for the three months ended March 31, climbing from $9.4 million, or $0.12 per share, booked in the year-ago period.Revenue jumped year over year to $68.6 million from $31.8 million, as gold sales rose to 13,721 ounces from 10,817 ounces. The average realized gold price surged to $4,902 per ounce from $2,915/oz.Mako will focus on lowering its cost of capital to accelerate accretive growth, the company said.

Mako Mining Provides "Significant" Drill Results from San Albino Project in Nicaragua

Mako Mining (MKO.V) reported Monday the "most significant" drill results to date from San Albino project in Nicaragua over the company's past six years of mining.Results include 26.98 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 48.4 g/t silver over 7.0 m, and 21.79 g/t gold and 23.0 g/t silver over 5.0 m.Current drilling extended mineralization over 450 m along strike and remains open to the southwest and down dip to the northwest, Mako said.The results also showed strong gold grade and structural continuity, which support potential for pit expansion, Mako said.The company plans to begin development to the southwest of the Candelaria fault once rainy season ends in the fourth quarter.

Mako Mining Books Record Q1 Gold Production

Mako Mining (MKO.V) reported Wednesday record gold production of 13,721 ounces in the first quarter.The output comprises 10,398 ounces of gold from the San Albino mine in Nicaragua and the 3,323 ounces from the Moss mine in Arizona.Mako integrated the Moss mine into its portfolio in March 2025 through a US$6.5 million deal to acquire the asset.The company said its first-quarter revenue reached US$68.6 million at a record average gold price of $4,904 per ounce.Mako said it is currently debt free with a cash position of $96.1 million, allowing the company to advance the Eagle Mountain project in Guyana and the Mt. Hamilton project in Nevada.The company traded 3.9% higher at last look to $7.65 per share on Nasdaq pre-market trading.
