Update: Meshflow Acquisition to Merge With HGP Intelligent Energy
(Updates throughout with Meshflow Acquisition's statement.)Meshflow Acquisition (MESH) said Tuesday in a regulatory filing that it signed a merger agreement with HGP Intelligent Energy.HGP is developing load-following technology for nuclear power plants as well as a program to repurpose naval-derived reactor technology for civilian power generation on federal sites, the filing said.A Meshflow spokesperson toldthat HGP's technology could help make existing and next-generation nuclear reactors "more flexible and valuable to the grid" as AI and data centers drive electricity demand.Bloomberg reported earlier Tuesday that HGP was planning to go public via a blank-check vehicle in a deal that would value it at about $1.2 billion.
