Metal Energy Raises C$490,000 From an Additional Investment by Strategic Investors
Metal Energy (MERG.V) raised C$490,000 after closing additional strategic investments by existing shareholders, Centerra Gold (CG.TO, CGAU) and Teck Resources (TECK-B.TO, TECK), as they exercised their respective 'top-up rights' to maintain their respective 9.9% equity interests in the company, it said in a statement on Friday.The company issued 550,000 shares at C$0.89 apiece.
