Metals Creek Resources Gets Conditional TSXV OK On Financing As Raises $557,500 in First Tranche of Private Placement
Metals Creek Resources (MEK.V), trading near 52 week lows, said Friday said it has received conditional approval from the TSX Venture Exchange for its non-brokered private placement and has closed a first tranche, raising $557,500 through the issuance of nearly 18.4 million non-flow-through (NFT) units and 200,000 flow-through (FT) units.The company plans to raise up to $750,000 from NFT units priced at $0.03 each and up to $500,000 from FT units priced at $0.035 each, according to the statement.Proceeds from the FT units will be used to fund exploration work in Newfoundland and Ontario, including the Ogden Gold Project, the company added.
