OCI Turns to Profit in Q2 as Sales Surge
South Korean chemical company OCI Holdings' (KRX:010060) income attributable to shareholders came in at 49.2 billion won for the second quarter ended June 30, against a loss of 76.6 billion won a year earlier, according to a Thursday filing with the Korea Exchange.Sales for the quarter rose 31.8% to 1.023 trillion won from 776.2 billion won in the year-ago period.
