Hanchangpaper Faces Court Petition for Shareholder Register Access
Hanchangpaper (KRX:009460) said a shareholder has filed a provisional injunction petition with the Seoul Southern District Court seeking access to the company's shareholder registers, according to a bourse filing on Monday.The registers include ordinary and temporary shareholder meeting records, closed-period registers, and beneficial ownership records from 2022 through June 30, 2026.The petitioner requests permission to inspect and copy, including photography, photocopying, and computer file copies, all shareholder details such as names, addresses, and number of shares held.The petition also seeks a penalty of 5 million won per day if the company fails to comply with the access order, with all legal costs to be borne by the company.The application was filed on July 13 and the company received court notification on July 20, adding that it will appoint legal counsel and actively respond to the petition.
