Hanall Biopharma Loses Arbitration Bid to Terminate HL161 License with Harbour BioMed
Hanall Biopharma's (KRX:009420) said an International Chamber of Commerce arbitral tribunal has ruled that the termination notice issued by the company was invalid, upholding the existing license agreement with Harbor Biomed for HL161 (Batoclimab) in China. The final decision, confirmed on Tuesday, means the partnership remains unchanged despite the Hanall Biopharma's earlier attempt to dissolve the contract, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday. The ruling does not disrupt the ongoing regulatory approval and commercialization of Batoclimab for generalized myasthenia gravis in China, which continues under the original terms. This outcome resolves a dispute first announced in March 2025, allowing the collaboration to proceed as initially agreed.
