Hyundai Steel Narrows Loss in Q1
Hyundai Steel (KRX:004020) posted a first-quarter net loss attributable to shareholders of 41 billion won, narrowing from 55.1 billion won a year earlier, according to a Friday filing with the Korea Exchange.Sales of the steel maker were up 3.2% year over year to 5.74 trillion won from 5.564 trillion won.Shares of Hyundai Steel rose 3% at market close.
