Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance Q2 Net Profit Surges 58%; Revenue Declines 6%
Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance (KRX:001450) posted a 58% year-on-year increase in net income for the second quarter to 391.8 billion won from 247.8 billion won.Sales declined 6% to 4.581 trillion won for the three months ended June 30 from 4.876 trillion won, according to a Korea Exchange filing on Thursday.For the first half, cumulative net income rose 36% to 615.1 billion won from 451 billion won, while sales edged up 1.4% to 9.203 trillion won from 9.078 trillion won.
