Formosa Pharmaceuticals, Samil Pharmaceutical Sign Drug Licensing Deal in Vietnam
Formosa Pharmaceuticals (TPE:6838) signed an exclusive licensing deal with South Korea's Samil Pharmaceutical (KRX:000520) for commercialization rights of its ophthalmic drug clobetasol propionate suspension (APP13007) in Vietnam.The agreement covers treatment for post-operative eye inflammation and pain, with financial terms including upfront payments, milestones and royalties, according to a Thursday Taiwan Exchange filing.Formosa said the Vietnam eye care market offers steady growth, and the deal is expected to support future sales and business development.Deal details, however, remain confidential.
