I-Scream Edu Shares Rise 23% After Sigong Tech's Stake Increase Offer
Sigong Tech (KOSDAQ:A020710) has launched a tender offer to acquire another 25.82% stake in I-Scream Edu (KOSDAQ:A289010) for 4.32 billion won, according to a Thursday filing with the Korea Exchange.The cultural exhibition specialist will pay 1,200 won in cash per I-Scream Edu share, equivalent to a 30.72% premium over the closing price of 918 won on Wednesday.With the acquisition, Sigong Tech will increase its holding in the digital education company to 54.39% from 28.57%.The tender offer will close on Sept. 29.Shares of I-Scream Edu jumped over 23% in recent trade.
