TXCD Unit Bags MYR57 Million Construction Deals; Shares Gain 4%
TXCD (KLSE:TXCD) unit Ageson Kensetsu secured two subcontract awards worth a combined 57.1 million ringgit from Sg. Besi Construction for a project in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, according to a Wednesday Malaysian bourse filing.Shares rose about 4% in Thursday's late morning trade.The contracts cover the construction and completion of the main building, infrastructure and mechanical and electrical works, as well as the supply of concrete, reinforcement bars, cement and M&E equipment.Work is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2026, and be completed by Sept. 1, 2028.TXCD expects the deals to contribute positively to the group's future earnings and net assets.
